Description

To install, the gutter is clipped into place. It's recommended to start with the back edge of the gutter, then gently pull the front edge down into position until the clip snaps into place.

The waterproof seal is achieved through the downward pressure of the clips. These clips compress a small rubber seal evenly around the outside of the gutter, creating a watertight connection.

Inside each union bracket, there are two clearly marked insertion lines. These lines are used as guides during installation to ensure that there is sufficient space for each gutter length to expand and contract. PVC gutter systems naturally expand and contract with temperature changes throughout the year, so these markings help accommodate this movement.

To secure the union brackets in place, they should be fixed back to the fascia board using two countersunk screws and the pre-drilled holes. This ensures that the union is held firmly in position, preventing any movement or separation of the gutter sections.

It's recommended that all gutter seals, including the rubber seals within the union brackets, should be lubricated with a silicon spray lubricant to facilitate the thermal movement of the gutter system.
