Description

Owatrol Gelcoat and Surface Restorer is a specialised oil designed to rejuvenate the colour and appearance of gelcoat, plastic, and metal surfaces.

Its effectiveness extends to both horizontal and vertical surfaces, including fiberglass (GRP) surfaces.

This restorer eliminates the need for traditional treatments like waxes and polishes, by deeply penetrating the gelcoat surface, revitalising pigments that might have dulled or faded due to exposure to the elements.

Application is straight forward using a cloth or a soft brush, and boasts a quick drying time of just 10 minutes. Post-application, the restorer develops into a resilient, long-lasting, and flexible finish that stands up to environmental elements like UV rays and weathering.

To achieve optimum results, proper surface preparation is paramount. Ensure the surface is meticulously clean, dry, and free from contaminants. Thoroughly remove any previous coatings and address mildew if present.

After use, tools can be easily cleaned with white spirit. It is crucial to exercise caution in disposing of materials soaked in the restorer, as they may pose a fire hazard if not handled properly.

Additional application guidelines recommend a temperature range of +5°C to +35°C, the avoidance of direct sunlight and hot surfaces during application, and the swift removal of excess restorer to prevent the formation of a film on the surface.

Please note: This product is specifically designed for pigmented surfaces and should not be used on white surfaces.
